Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOP)
Advanced Oxidation for Sustainable Water Treatment
Xepcon Technology engineers and manufactures Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) systems that harness the in-situ generation of hydroxyl radicals (·OH) to drive oxidative mineralization of persistent organic and inorganic contaminants in water and wastewater.
Our platforms integrate a suite of advanced photochemical and catalytic mechanisms, including:
- Ozone-based Systems: O₃/UV and O₃/H₂O₂ combinations for enhanced radical generation
- Hydrogen Peroxide Systems: H₂O₂/UV for efficient photolytic decomposition
- Fenton & Photo-Fenton Processes: Fe²⁺/H₂O₂ with optional UV activation for iron-catalyzed oxidation
- Catalytic Oxidation: Semiconductor-based systems using TiO₂ under UV irradiation for surface-mediated reactions
These technologies are embedded within modular, scalable architectures engineered for high-throughput, continuous-flow operation. By enabling non-selective, high redox potential reactions, Xepcon’s AOP platforms achieve near-complete degradation of recalcitrant compounds—including pharmaceuticals, endocrine disruptors, and industrial solvents.
Our systems are optimized for seamless integration into municipal and industrial treatment trains, delivering enhanced process control, reduced chemical consumption, and full compliance with stringent discharge regulations. Xepcon’s solutions support sustainable water reuse and long-term environmental stewardship.
